Courtyard by Marriott Hampton Coliseum Central

The cleanest, staff super friendly and helpful, check-in process was a breeze, and the stay was very comfortable!!!!! Convenient to dining and shopping, will definitely book again

Freshly updated, very clean. All the staff I encountered were super nice, especially the front desk supervisor, Tim, who went above and beyond to help me with a minor inconvenience. I didn’t use it, but the pool looked nice too.

We've stayed at this hotel 2 years in a row now for a local convention. It's a really convenient location; I can walk to and from the con center if I don't want to worry about parking. Denise at the front desk was very courteous in assisting my husband and myself at check-in. I appreciate that check-out isn't until noon as well.

Checked in 8/27 here for the weekend, the room looks like the picture but the floor had something sticky on it the bathroom was not fully cleaned, some linen was stained also the chair in the room needs a deep cleaning had to cover it with a sheet, this hotel doesn't have proper bed covers this thing looks like a shower curtain the room has a balcony that's nice the location is very good.

I had a mostly positive experience at the **Courtyard by Marriott Hampton Coliseum Central**. From the moment I called to make arrangements, every staff member I interacted with was kind, professional, and eager to help, which made for a welcoming atmosphere during my stay. There were a few minor issues with the room. The couch bed wasn’t made up with sheets, blankets, or pillows, but when I called down to request some, they promptly delivered everything I needed. The in-room phone didn’t work, so I had to walk to the lobby a couple of times, which I didn’t mind, given the friendly service. The remote for the TV didn’t work all weekend due to a satellite issue, and the ice machines on floors 1 and 2 were empty, but I was able to get ice on the third floor. I would have rated my stay five stars, but unfortunately, I left my $150 kimono (a traditional Japanese robe) in the closet when I checked out. I realized this two days later and immediately called the hotel, hoping to recover it. Sadly, I was told that the housekeeping staff hadn’t found anything in the room, and it wasn’t in the Lost and Found. I followed up, hoping someone could double-check the closet, but I was informed that the room was now occupied. I left my number with the hotel in case it turns up, and I’m holding out hope that someone might reach out to me. Overall, I would rate my stay as four stars. The wonderful and helpful staff made up for the few hiccups with amenities, but losing a sentimental item like my kimono has left me disappointed. I only wish more could be done in situations like this.

The staff was super-friendly and helpful. The facility itself was quite worn (especially the elevator floor, which is among a guest's first impressions). The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Finally, I had heard about car break-ins in the area, so I was pleased to see cameras throughout the parking lot (and a monitor at the front desk, showing that the cameras were working).

A lovely hotel that met all our needs. Great location relative to the coliseum. Taryn was everywhere: helping us check in, serving drinks/food, and just generally being a bright spot of our days. She’s a gem and made our stay extra special. Thanks to all.

Beautiful hotel. Pool was open on a limited basis due to a duck and five of her chicks she was protecting. When she claimed the pool as hers, they closed the pool ( reasonable) when she was not there the pool was open.
